Description
A food supplement based on potassium citrate and magnesium citrate, useful for supplementing these nutrients in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased need.
Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and electrolyte balance.

Ingredients
Each sachet contains 1513 mg of potassium citrate equivalent to 547 mg of potassium (14 mEq), 581 mg of magnesium citrate, equivalent to 90 mg of magnesium (7 mEq) for a total of 21 mEq of citrate.

Instructions for use
Unless otherwise medically indicated, it is recommended to take 2 sachets of LITHOS per day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, preferably on a full stomach, dissolving the content of one sachet in a glass of water (approx. 150 mL) until a pleasant wild berries flavored drink is obtained.

Warnings
For potassium intake, it is advisable to consult a doctor. Concomitant use of some medications may also interfere with potassium retention in the body. Not recommended for children.
LITHOS Sachets are contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations (such as chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus).
Concomitant intake of LITHOS Sachets and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could lead to hyperkalemia. In this condition, it is advisable to monitor potassium levels. No interactions with other drugs are known.
Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances may occur, such as: abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea.
These symptoms can be alleviated by taking LITHOS® Sachets on a full stomach.
If these or other side effects occur, it is advisable to contact your doctor.
The product contains polyalcohols: excessive consumption can have laxative effects.
The product could promote urine alkalinization.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light and localized heat sources, sunlight, and avoid contact with water.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in an unopened package.
