Description
Food supplement with folic acid (a B-complex vitamin, also known as folacin or vitamin B9).
Folic acid supplementation increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of folic acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception). The product is intended for women of childbearing age.

Ingredients
Stabiliser (sorbitol), bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), anti-caking agent (vegetable magnesium stearate), folic acid, coating agents (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, stearic acid and microcrystalline cellulose).

Gluten-free.

Directions for use
Take one tablet daily with water during a meal.
