CE 0476 medical device, class IIa. Patch with hydrocolloid adhesive able to protect and treat the symptoms of cold sores. Master-Aid Herpes Patch consists of a hydrocolloid matrix deposited on a polyurethane backing. This matrix has useful characteristics for the protection and treatment of lesions and is composed of carboxymethylcellulose and konjac gum. These hydrophilic polymers are able to absorb exudates and maintain a controlled degree of humidity on the wound. Controlling the humidity of the lesion is a necessary condition for proper healing. Master-Aid Herpes Patch also contains calendula extract, a vegetable oil with emollient properties that soften the outer epithelium of the labial surface, minimizing the discomfort caused by the sensation of the herpes lesion.

Modern and pocket-sized rigid plastic case with an internal mirror to help apply the patch correctly. The package contains 15 patches.
