Description
Food supplement containing 100 mg of coenzyme Q10 per softgel in the form of ubiquinone. Coenzyme Q10 may be recommended to supplement the diet in cases of reduced intake and increased need. It can also be used in conjunction with medications and natural remedies that may lead to a reduction of Q10 in the body with consequent muscle disorders, such as remedies for cholesterol control that counteract the body's production of cholesterol by reducing the action of the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme. This enzyme also intervenes in the endogenous production of coenzyme Q10, which could therefore be less efficient, leading to a reduction in the presence of coenzyme Q10 in the body.
