Description
Medical device based on type I porcine collagen to reduce pain and improve the joint mobility of the shoulder and upper limb.

How to use
- Periarticular route: insert the needle near the joint to a minimum depth of 13-25 mm.
- Intra-articular route: insert the needle below the inferior margin of the posterior angle of the acromion, towards the coracoid process.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
- Periarticular: 26G x 25 mm needle.
- Intra-articular: 22G x 32 mm needle.
Note: thoroughly disinfect the skin with povidone-iodine or chlorhexidine.

THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL
1-2 infiltrations per week to contain the physiological or pathological deterioration of the shoulder and elbow joints and surrounding tissues. Results are already evident from the third week, but depending on the patient's clinical situation, treatment can be continued for up to ten weeks without risk.

Components
Collagen of porcine origin, Iris versicolor, sodium chloride, injectable water.

Warnings
Shoulder pain requires differential diagnosis with chronic cervical syndrome, ischemic heart disease (acute/chronic, for left shoulder only), cholecystitis/cholelithiasis (for right shoulder only), cervicobrachialgia, trapezius muscle trigger point.
Slight redness in the injection area may be due to the mechanical effect of the needle or a skin reaction. The application may cause burning/pain symptoms at the injection sites, which generally resolve within 5-10 minutes after the end of treatment.
Skin cleansing/disinfection is necessary before and after application. Any pyogenic bacteria could produce an abscess in the injection area.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored. Use the product immediately after opening.

Format
Pack of 5 and 10 vials (2 ml each - extractable volume).
