AQUACEL FOAM ADHESIVE FORMAT

Multi-layered adhesive dressing made of hydrocellular polyurethane foam with an alveolar structure, featuring a thin layer of Hydrofiber in contact with the wound bed, an outer polyurethane film, and a silicone adhesive border (hypoallergenic).
The mixed-cell polyurethane layer is highly hydrophilic, absorbent, exudate-retaining, and breathable. The Hydrofiber Technology layer in direct contact with the wound bed allows AQUACEL Foam to actively interact with the wound itself, instantly forming a soft gel that maintains a moist environment and retains exudate, promoting healing and reducing the risk of maceration of the periwound skin.
The breathable outer film promotes vapor and gas transmission and creates a fluid and bacteria-impermeable barrier that protects the wound from external contamination.
The silicone adhesive border is extremely gentle upon removal, thin, and repositionable.
AQUACEL Foam is indicated for use on lightly to moderately exuding wounds including:
Traumatic wounds: minor abrasions, lacerations, and small cuts.
Chronic wounds: lower limb ulcers (venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, and mixed etiology ulcers), diabetic ulcers, partial and full-thickness pressure ulcers.
Acute wounds: surgical wounds (left to heal by secondary intention) and donor sites.
Oncological wounds: highly exuding lesions (fungating cutaneous tumors, cutaneous metastases, and sarcoma).
It can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing.
LATEX FREE - PHTHALATE FREE.

Instructions for use
Choose a dressing of appropriate shape and size so that the central absorbent pad is larger than the wound area. Align the center of the dressing with the center of the wound and place the central pad of the dressing directly over the wound.
The dressing should be changed when clinically indicated or when saturated with exudate; however, not beyond 7 days of wear time.
AQUACEL Foam can be used as a primary dressing, or as a secondary dressing in combination with other products.

Components
Sterile dressing composed of: an impermeable outer polyurethane film, a hydrophilic polyurethane layer with a thickness of 2.5 mm and a density of approximately 300 g/sqm and cell size of 200-300 microns, an absorbent layer of non-woven fibers composed of pure sodium carboxymethylcellulose (NaCMC) gelling fibers, surrounded by a thin and delicate silicone adhesive border.
Sterilization method: Sterilized with ethylene oxide.

Warnings
Testotestotesto. Report any warnings/precautions for use here.

Storage
Protect from light sources, store in a dry place at room temperature (10°C - 25°C).
Shelf life in years: 3.
Maximum wear time: 7 days.
