ALLEVYN
Non-Adhesive

10 cm x 10 cm

From the beginning, the product was designed taking inspiration from the human body.
Allevyn Non-Adhesive was the first Allevyn variant.
Launched in 1987, it combined patient comfort with the revolutionary three-layer fluid management system that allows wounds to heal in a moist environment.
Allevyn Non-Adhesive has stood the test of time and continues to be essential for patients and doctors worldwide.
• The exclusive triple-action technology effectively manages fluids, creating a moist environment for wound healing.
The highly breathable top film minimizes the risk of maceration of the wound and perilesional skin.
• The non-adherent contact layer makes the dressing suitable for use on fragile and sensitive skin, including that of epidermolysis bullosa wounds.
• Soft and comfortable for the patient, it adapts to various areas of the body.
• Shaped dressing for the heel, designed to adapt to this uncomfortable area.
• Easy to apply and remove.
• Provides an effective barrier function for exogenous bacteria, as well as helping to prevent exudate leakage and bacteria.
• Wide range of sizes that can be cut to adapt to different body contours.
• Suitable for use under compression bandaging.
• The product can contribute to a pressure reduction protocol, used as prophylaxis.
• Allevyn Non-Adhesive dressings are indicated for secondary intention management of:
- superficial, granulating lesions;
- chronic and acute exuding wounds;
- full or partial thickness wounds such as: pressure ulcers, lower limb ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers;
- tumor lesions;
- surgical wounds;
- first and second degree burns;
- donor sites;
- hyperproliferative skin ulcers;
- oncological lesions;
- epidermolysis bullosa wounds.
The product can be used on infected wounds.
If the product is used on infected wounds, the infection must be monitored and treated according to the local clinical protocol.
