Treatment of vaginal or vulvo-vaginal fungal infections, particularly those caused by Candida.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Known individual hypersensitivity to the product or to other chemically related compounds.
Interactions with other medicines: None known.
Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding: In pregnant women, the product should only be used if absolutely necessary and under direct medical supervision.

Effects on driving and operating machinery
No negative effects of miconazole on the ability to drive or operate machinery are known.

Warnings and precautions
Prolonged use of the drug may lead to sensitization.
In such cases, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.

Possible side effects
Topical use: occasionally sensitization or local irritative phenomena, which require discontinuation of treatment.
Vaginal use: various disorders have been reported in the first weeks of miconazole therapy: vaginal burning and irritation, pelvic cramps, more rarely skin rashes and headache. In these cases, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.
