Candidiasis is a vaginal infection caused by fungi of the candida genus (of which candida albicans is the most common). Under normal conditions, candida is present in the vaginal ecosystem in balance with other species. Under particular conditions (reduced immune defenses, antibiotic and cortisone therapies, a diet low in vitamins and/or rich in sugars and carbohydrates, stress, use of oral contraceptives, underwear that is too tight and/or synthetic), these fungi replicate excessively, altering the balance between the species of the vaginal flora and leading to the development of candidiasis. To combat candidiasis, it is useful to restore the balance between the species by bringing the vaginal pH back to optimal values, thus creating an environment hostile to the proliferation of fungi.
Indicated as an adjuvant treatment for vaginal mycoses. It has a rebalancing and normalizing action on vaginal pH, useful for counteracting the colonization of pathogenic agents. Furthermore, thanks to its soothing action, it alleviates bothersome itching and burning sensations.

Ingredients
Semi-synthetic glycerides, boric acid, silica dimethyl silylate, bisabolol, vitamin E acetate, lactic acid.

How to use
Remove the ovule by pulling the two tabs of the pre-cut blister and insert it deeply into the vagina. Wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
Use one ovule daily, preferably in the evening before bedtime, or as prescribed by a doctor.

Warnings
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product components, during pregnancy and breastfeeding (in such circumstances, it is advisable to consult your doctor).
No particular precautions are necessary if using tools, machinery or vehicles.
No interactions with other products are known, therefore it is advisable to consult your doctor before using the product in combination with other medical devices or drugs for vaginal use.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products could lead to sensitization phenomena. In such a case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor to establish appropriate therapy. If other undesirable effects occur, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. Do not use after the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged. Medical devices should not be disposed of in wastewater or household waste; ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medical devices that are no longer used. This will help protect the environment.

Storage
Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
