MILCO_Ciock

Dietetic food for special medical purposes. Protein-free drink (protein content is less than 0.2 g/100 ml) made from milk ingredients, ready for use, chocolate-flavored. Designed to replace cow's milk when a significant reduction in dietary protein intake is required, for example, in the diet of individuals with chronic kidney failure. Due to its composition, it can also be useful for the dietary treatment of inborn errors of metabolism, when a significant reduction in protein intake from common foods is necessary. MILCO Ciock, for example, contains virtually no phenylalanine (max 8 mg/100 g, a level equal to that of tyrosine), and can be used, under medical supervision, in dietary regimens for the treatment of phenylketonuria. It also contains the essential fatty acids linoleic and α-linolenic in a ratio of 13:1 and in a total amount corresponding to 8% of the total calories.
Contains lactose.

Demineralized water; lactose; maltodextrin; milk cream; vegetable oils (palm/rapeseed); whey; cocoa powder; cocoa flavor; emulsifier: E472c, sodium chloride; thickeners: E331, E332; antioxidants: E304, E307; acidifiers: E333, E340.

Instructions for use
The daily quantity to be consumed should be advised by a doctor, taking into account the patient's age and condition. Shake well before use and follow the same method as for cow's milk.

Warnings
Compared to cow's milk, the product has a low calcium content. To be used under medical supervision. Milco Ciock cannot be the sole source of nutrition. Do not use intravenously. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.

Storage
Store in a cool place and away from light. Once opened, the bottle must be kept in the refrigerator and the contents consumed within the third day.
