Description
NALKEVIT® MAMMA tablets are a food supplement based on Vitamins and Minerals, indicated in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased need for these elements. Folic Acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy and supports normal hematopoiesis. Folic acid, Iron, Magnesium, Niacin, Vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. Copper contributes to the normal transport of Iron in the body. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. Folic Acid, Iron, Zinc, and Vitamins B12 and D are involved in the cell division process. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilization of Calcium and Phosphorus. Calcium is involved in the process of cell division and specialization. Supplemental intake of folic acid increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. The target population is women of childbearing age, and the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of Folic Acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
Directions for use
1 tablet daily, with water.
