What it is and what it is used for
NEOXENE is a disinfectant for gynaecological use.

NEOXENE is used for disinfecting the vaginal mucosa.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
WHEN IT SHOULD NOT BE USED:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Warnings and precautions
The medicine is for vaginal use only and must not be swallowed. After applying Neoxene, it is advisable to wash your hands; in case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products can give rise to sensitisation phenomena; in such a case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor to initiate appropriate therapy.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, NEOXENE can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
In some cases, intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur, which is, however, without consequence and does not require modification of the treatment.
Adhering to the instructions contained in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
