Description
Normalene Stop Gas is indicated for the treatment of symptoms related to stomach bloating (aerophagia) and intestinal bloating (meteorism) due to gas accumulation.
It alleviates cramps and pain related to this problem and prevents flatulence and belching.
The product's action is due to the antifoaming action of simethicone, combined with the adsorbing action of charcoal on intestinal gases. The bilayer structure of the tablet allows approximately 50% of the ingredients to be released in the gastric environment within 15 minutes of intake, while complete disintegration of the tablet occurs in the intestinal environment within one hour.
The components are not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and do not interfere with the absorption of nutrients.

Ingredients
One Normalene Stop Gas tablet contains: Simethicone 50 mg, Charcoal 300 mg.
Excipients: maltodextrin, sucrose, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, colloidal silica, croscarmellose sodium, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, glyceryl behenate, silicon dioxide, vegetable magnesium stearate.

Gluten and lactose-free.

Directions for use
Do not use under 14 years of age.
Adults: it is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets at the end of each main meal, up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day.
Adolescents from 14 to 18 years old: 1 tablet at the end of each main meal, up to a maximum of 2 tablets per day.

Warnings
Do not use the product before 14 years of age. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take after the expiration date printed on the package. Do not use if the package is damaged. Each tablet is single-use and must be removed from the package immediately before use. Do not take partially used (crushed or broken) tablets or tablets removed from the blister at unknown times, as this improper use could lead to a risk of contamination of the product. Do not use in the presence of gastric or intestinal lesions. Do not use in case of intestinal blockage. In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, take the medical device only if necessary and after consulting a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose as larger quantities may cause adverse effects. For periods of use longer than 30 days, it is recommended to interrupt treatment with the product for at least 3-5 days. Do not take in case of intolerance to the product. Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the components.
Side effects: at recommended doses, a brownish discoloration of the faeces may be observed due to the presence of charcoal. This phenomenon is completely normal and does not imply any pathological significance. No known medium/long-term side effects have been reported. The device does not negatively affect sensory abilities (attention level, ability to drive or perform activities).

Storage
Store the tablets in the blister in a dry place away from direct light or heat sources: remove the tablets only when using. Store the device below 25°C.
