Components
Cardiospermum halicacabum: is a medicinal plant that has a cortisone-like effect, but without the contraindications of the drug. The plant extract of Cardiospermum halicacabum boasts antiallergic and anti-inflammatory properties due to an effect similar to that exerted by cortisone and known as the cortisone-like effect. The active ingredients responsible for the cortisone-like effect are the phytosterols contained in the flowering tops, which have an anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, sebum-regulating, anti-itching action, but above all, they are able to stabilize the cell membranes of skin and mucous membranes which, in case of dermatitis, are less reactive.
SK-influx: a lipid concentrate identical to that naturally present in the skin for an improvement of the skin barrier function. This ceramide complex plays a fundamental role in preventing transepidermal water loss, in maintaining skin hydration and elasticity, and in preventing the entry of irritating and inflammatory substances.
Glycyrrhetinic acid: extracted from the licorice plant, thanks to its properties, it is used in cosmetics for sensitive and delicate skin. It is effective as a soothing agent in products for children, for inflamed, reddened skin, affected by atopic and seborrheic dermatitis, and general irritations. It exerts its activity even at small doses without causing any side effects, inhibiting the enzymes involved in inflammatory processes.
