PURAMINO
Description
Hypoallergenic amino acid-based formula for infants and children with severe cow's milk protein allergy, multiple food intolerances, or when an elemental diet is required. Nutramigen Puramino is lactose-free and contains DHA, omega-3 fatty acids that support normal visual development in infants*. Medium-chain triglyceride oil provides an easily available source of fat and energy in cases of fat malabsorption. Do not change formula without consulting a pediatrician who will also advise on the introduction of complementary foods into the weaning diet. Due to its specific formulation, Nutramigen Puramino does not have the taste and smell of infant formulas. Infants fed Nutramigen Puramino may produce frequent, soft, green-to-dark stools.

Directions for use
1. Wash your hands thoroughly. Wash and boil feeding bottles, teats, rings, caps, and utensils in water for 1 minute.
2. Boil other water for 1 minute and let it cool to room temperature before preparing. Pour the correct amount of cooled water into the feeding bottle.
3. Add the correct amount of powder to the water (see feeding chart). Keep the dry scoop in the can.
4. Close the feeding bottle, roll it between your hands, then shake it vigorously. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist.
The product, once prepared, is subject to rapid deterioration. Administer immediately after preparation, otherwise cover the prepared formula and store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-4°C for no more than 24 hours. Do not freeze the prepared formula and do not use it if it has been out of the refrigerator for more than 2 hours. Use the prepared formula that has been in contact with the infant's mouth within 1 hour and do not put the bottle back in the refrigerator. Discard any remaining product in the bottle and thoroughly clean the utensils.

*Use the scoop enclosed in the can. One level, unpacked scoop (4.5 g) is added to 30 ml of water.

Store the can in a cool, dry place. Close the container tightly after use, store in a dry place and use the contents within 1 month of first opening. Do not freeze the powder. Avoid exposure to heat sources.
