OCUDOX
Description
Electrolyzed solution to support the treatment of blepharitis.
It is used to remove residues and microorganisms from the eyelids, eyelashes, and periorbital skin that can cause irritation and discomfort to the ocular surface.
It can also be used for cleaning minor cuts and burns.
It is not irritating to human skin, eyes, or throat and is not a sensitizing solution for the skin. No special precautions are required for use. It is non-flammable.
Ingredients
Electrolyzed water (H2O), Sodium chloride (NaCl); accessory substances: Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and Hypochlorous acid (HOCl).
Directions for use
Wash hands before applying Ocudox, remove any traces of lotions or makeup from the periorbital area, and apply 2 sprays of Ocudox onto a round cotton pad. Close the eye and, with a horizontal motion, gently clean the base of the upper eyelid's eyelashes at least 3 times. Rinsing is not necessary. Use twice daily or as directed by a physician.
It can also be used to cleanse the periorbital area on the days preceding and following eye surgery.
After use, the container should be closed for storage.
Warnings
Do not use if the tamper-evident seal is broken or missing.
For external use only. Do not inject or ingest.
Do not use Ocudox in combination with other products without consulting a physician.
In case of deep or severe wounds, or for any other doubts regarding the treatment, consult a doctor.
Report any adverse reactions to a doctor.
In addition to the use of Ocudox, systemic and/or topical antibiotics may be necessary in some cases.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Keep the container closed when the product is not in use.
Ocudox is harmless even if it comes into contact with the nasal cavity or is ingested.
Protect the product from freezing.
Storage
Store at temperatures between 2° C and 24° C.
Shelf life after opening: 60 days.
