Protective, lubricating, and highly hydrating solution, particularly suitable for sensitive eyes.
The action of sodium hyaluronate (the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid) makes it ideal for non-traumatic and non-pathological eye conditions and helps protect and lubricate the ocular surface.
Thanks to its soothing properties, aloe vera helps relieve eye fatigue and restore the homeostasis of the ocular surface.
Hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the body, is a substance with high viscoelastic properties and, like tears, is capable of changing its viscosity based on applied friction, increasing and improving ocular lubrication.
Thanks to its ability to incorporate water molecules, it helps replenish and stabilize the tear film.

They are medical devices, not medicines
For safe eye self-medication, sterile, biocompatible, preserved, isotonic, isosmotic, buffered at pH 7.2.

They are natural
They contain no additives, preservatives, or chemical disinfectants, therefore they are free from the contraindications and limitations of chemical products.

They contain fluid extracts of medicinal plants
Fluid extracts are obtained from the distillation of medicinal plants with ethyl alcohol (a more expensive but much more effective technique) and not from distillation with water (very economical, less concentrated, and therefore less effective). The fluid extract guarantees natural disinfection, while the aqueous extract requires a chemical preservative/disinfectant.

They can be used for up to 90 days after opening
Unlike many competitors that have a maximum use of 20/30 days. Due to this characteristic and the absence of chemical preservatives, a single-dose format is not necessary.

They can also be used with contact lenses in place
They are not aggressive because they do not contain chemical substances (e.g., benzalkonium chloride) and are always well tolerated and effective, unlike many competing products that, due to their chemical content, can damage the lens polymer.

They have no known contraindications
Thanks to their natural and delicate composition, they are only not recommended in cases of known hypersensitivity to the product's components.

Sprays can be used on open or closed eyes
The special certification of Class B products allows sprays to be used on open eyes through a nozzle designed to administer a light micro-nebulization.
Use on an open eye is particularly effective as it allows for rapid absorption of the active ingredient and provides an immediate soothing, moisturizing, and refreshing effect; it also ensures administration in correct quantities.
Oftamed's sprays are also effective when used on closed eyes.
