Description
CE medical device, class IIa, based on hyaluronic acid, citicoline, and vitamin B12. OMK2 is a 0.2% ophthalmic solution of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, obtained by biotechnological synthesis. Hyaluronic acid creates mucomimetic, mucoadhesive, and viscoelastic solutions, useful for improving the stability of the tear film, thus keeping the ocular surface lubricated, hydrated, and protected. Furthermore, hyaluronic acid-based solutions are able to create a microenvironment favorable to the repair processes of the ocular surface in cases of damage to the corneal and conjunctival epithelia. The presence of citicoline in OMK2 provides useful and favorable structural support in restoring the integrity of cell membranes damaged by degenerative ophthalmic diseases (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy). Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) finally promotes the growth of corneal epithelial cells, protects cells from free radical action, and is an important element for maintaining proper functionality of the ocular surface.
The wetting and protective properties of OMK2 provide ocular relief in cases of irritation, burning, and foreign body sensation due to environmental factors or prolonged use of a video terminal. OMK2 indirectly promotes the physiological processes of corneal re-epithelialization after ocular surgery, laser, or small abrasions of the corneal surface.

Instructions for use
Instill 1 drop of OMK2 2-3 times a day, as needed.

Components
Hyaluronic acid; citicoline sodium salt*; cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12); monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate; dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate; sodium chloride; benzalkonium chloride; water for injectable preparations.

Warnings
Do not use if the bottle is damaged. Do not use in case of incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package. Do not touch the eyes with the tip of the container. After administration, temporary blurred vision may occur. It is therefore advisable to wait a few seconds before undertaking any activity that requires clear vision. Allow 10-15 minutes after use before instilling drugs for external ophthalmic use. The product must be used within 30 days of first opening the bottle. Keep the preparation out of the reach and sight of children. The product is for external ophthalmic use only. Do not discard the bottle in the environment after use.

Storage
Store at a temperature below 25°C.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
Shelf life after first opening: 1 month.
