Onilaqare 0.25% cream
amorolfine

What it is and what it is used for
ONILAQARE 0.25% cream contains amorolfine, an active substance capable of inhibiting the growth of fungi (antifungal). It is indicated for the treatment of dermatomycoses (skin infections caused by fungi) such as: Tinea pedis (athlete's foot), Tinea cruris (infection localized in moist areas such as inner thigh, buttocks), Tinea inguinalis (groin infection), Tinea corporis (infection affecting all other areas of the body), Tinea manuum (infection affecting the palm of the hand and the skin between the fingers), Cutaneous candidiasis (yeast skin infections), Pityriasis versicolor (sun fungus).

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use Onilaqare 0.25% cream
• if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Onilaqare 0.25% cream.

This medicine can cause allergic reactions, some of which may be severe. In this case, stop applying the medicine, immediately wash the medicine off with soap and water, and consult a doctor. The medicine should not be reapplied.
If you experience any of the following symptoms, contact your doctor urgently:
- you have difficulty breathing;
- your face, lips, tongue or throat swell;
- your skin shows a severe rash.

Carefully remove the product during skin cleansing.
The product should not be reapplied.

Children
Children, and in particular newborns, should not be treated with Onilaqare 0.25% cream.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
In clinical studies, reactions to this medicine were rare and generally mild.

The following side effects are listed in order of frequency:

Rare: may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people
• Skin irritation
• Erythema (redness)
• Itching
• Skin burning sensation

Not known: Frequency cannot be estimated from the available data
• Systemic allergic reaction (a severe allergic reaction that may be associated with swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing and/or severe rash)
• Contact dermatitis (inflammatory skin reaction) In predisposed individuals, hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions) may occur.
