Thermoformable splint that allows for immobilization of the thumb in a functional position, while maintaining the mobility of the other fingers and the gripping ability of the hand. Ambidextrous model.

Instructions for use
Remove the thermoformable part from the fabric sheath. Fill a container with hot water at 65°C. Completely immerse the thermoformable product until it becomes translucent and flattens out. Position the thermoformable product on the thumb, holding the hand in a functional position. Mold the softened thermoformable material along the thumb line, massaging gently without pressing. Allow to cool in this position. Insert the thermoformed material into the sheath. Position the orthosis, closing it first on the wrist and then on the thumb using the appropriate hook-and-loop fasteners, until a firm and comfortable containment is achieved.

Washing instructions
Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, gently squeeze, lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.

Do not prolong the use of the product without medical advice. The product has been designed for use by a single person; do not use it on multiple people. The product must not be used in direct contact with broken skin. Do not use in case of allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to the components of the product. If problems arise during the use of the product, such as the appearance of pain or clear local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional. In the event of a serious incident following the use of the product, contact the manufacturer and the competent local healthcare professional. When adjusting the straps, tighten them so that they are stable but comfortable. The brace should not be used if relative or absolute immobilization or surgery is required. It is advisable for the first positioning to be performed by a qualified operator, and subsequent positionings to be carried out independently in the same manner. Contains natural rubber latex.

Storage
Store in a dry environment away from excessive heat and light.
