OINTMENT

Non-greasy ointment, an intensive adjuvant in the acute phases of mild and moderate atopic dermatitis. Based on Glycerophosphoinositol (GPI), Perilla frutescens extract, and a barrier-restoring complex.
No added preservatives, fragrances, paraffins, or recognized allergens. Nickel-free (< 1 ppm).
       Glycerophosphoinositol (GPI)
Has a cortisone-like anti-inflammatory action, inhibiting cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2), an enzyme involved in the release of arachidonic acid, a precursor to leukotrienes and prostaglandins.
       Perilla frutescens extract
Rich in fatty acids and polyphenols, which exert a synergistic antioxidant action with GPI.
       Barrier-restoring complex
Composed of polyunsaturated fatty acids (Omega 3, 6, and 9), ceramides, and phytosterols; essential for rebuilding and restoring the skin barrier.

Directions for use
Apply a thin layer to the affected areas twice a day during the acute phase of mild and moderate dermatitis; once a day during the acute phase, in conjunction with pharmacological therapies.

Components
Glycerophosphoinositol (GPI) 0.2%; Perilla frutescens extract 1%; barrier-restoring complex 4%.
