Ear cleanser. Solution for otological use.
Intended for dogs and cats. For veterinary use.
OTOCLEAN contains keratolytic, ceruminolytic, emollient, sanitizing, and moisturizing ingredients that give the product excellent qualities for the hygiene and care of the external ear canal of dogs and cats, keeping it clean and free from accumulations of dirt, earwax, or secretions.

Components
Salicylic acid, Cucumis sativus extract, Cetraria islandica extract, Mimosa tenuiflora extract, lactic acid 90%, transcutol (diethylene glycol monoethyl ether), propylene glycol, macrogol 400, glycerol, oleic acid, water q.s. to 1 ml.

Instructions for use
- Open the vial by twisting the plastic cap.
- Lift the ear from the upper edge and direct the content of the vial into the ear canal by pressing the vial firmly to instill half or all of the content, as needed.
- Massage the base of the ear for a few seconds to facilitate contact of the cleansing solution with the ear.

Apply OTOCLEAN to each ear canal of the dog or cat in a sufficient amount depending on the animal's size.
- For large animals, apply one vial (5 ml) to each ear.
- For small or medium-sized animals, the content of one vial can be divided between the two ears.

Allow OTOCLEAN to act without applying other substances to the ear for at least 30 minutes.

Indications for use: In breeds predisposed to otitis due to the anatomy of the ear flap (cocker, setter, poodle, etc.), it is advisable to apply OTOCLEAN periodically.

A routine weekly application is recommended to maintain the external ear canal in optimal condition.
- In animals that have large accumulations of dirt or earwax, an unpleasant odor usually comes from the ears. In these cases, apply OTOCLEAN to each ear canal every 24 hours for 8 consecutive days and then reduce the frequency of applications (every 2-3 days) based on the observed response, until complete hygiene of the ear canals is achieved.
- In animals with otitis, to improve the efficiency of antibacterial or therapeutic products to be applied, it is advisable to clean the ear canal by eliminating the accumulation of dirt, earwax, or secretions. Similarly, 30 minutes before applying a therapeutic ear solution, it is advisable to clean both ears with OTOCLEAN.
