Adjunctive treatment for reparative processes in atrophic and dystrophic conditions of the vaginal mucosa. Promotes healing post-partum, in gynecological surgery, in dystrophies resulting from chemotherapy and ionizing radiation. Treatment of vaginal dryness of various origins.
It exerts its activity thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, a mucopolysaccharide abundantly distributed in many body tissues.
Hyaluronic acid, thanks to its ability to retain water, forms a film that hydrates, accelerates, and improves the re-epithelialization and tissue repair process.

How to use
Wash hands before and after using the medical device.
Detach an ovule from the blister along the pre-cut line. Remove the ovule by pulling the two tabs of the blister. Hold the ovule on your fingertips. Lie down in a supine position and insert the ovule deeply into the vagina.

Adults: use one ovule per day or as prescribed by a doctor, preferably in the evening before bedtime to prevent product leakage. Avoid holding the vaginal ovule between your fingers for too long, as it may melt.
The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms. If necessary, the product can be used for extended periods; however, after 30 days of continuous use, suspend treatment for one week.

Components
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt (5 mg), Centella asiatica lipoic extract, calendula lipoic extract, aloe vera lipoic extract, melaleuca essential oil, semi-synthetic glycerides, BHT.

Warnings
The product is for vaginal use only.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not swallow.
The ovule, once inserted into the vagina, dissolves, so whitish and odorless discharge may occur.
In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, as specific clinical studies have not been conducted, consult your doctor before using the device.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components.
No interactions with other products are known, so it is advisable to consult a doctor before using CICATRIDINA ovules in combination with other medical devices or drugs for vaginal use.
The use, especially prolonged use, of all topical products could lead to sensitization phenomena. In such a case, or if other undesirable effects are noted, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4 °C and 25 °C. Avoid temperatures above 30 °C.
The expiration date refers to the product in an intact package, stored correctly. Do not use after the expiration date or if the package is open or damaged.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
