Description
Shaped absorbent aid without integrated fastening system, contoured, snug-fitting and easy to wear, with a liquid-impermeable, soft, non-toxic, fully breathable outer covering and a resistant, hypoallergenic non-woven fabric inner lining, treated with a skin-protective substance. The absorbent aid consists of a hypoallergenic sheet in contact with the skin, an absorbent pad with long-fiber pure cellulose fluff and superabsorbent polymers, with a central upper layer for rapid absorption. The product is equipped with an adhesive strip along its entire length for optimal fastening to underwear (it can also be used with separate fastening means: elasticated mesh briefs) and a longitudinal elastication system for improved fit and hold.
The Serenity Light Extra diaper is externally covered with non-woven fabric (polypropylene) that is air-breathable and liquid-impermeable, rustle-free, soft, and quiet, over the entire surface of the diaper.
Thanks to the fully air-breathable outer covering, the delicate epidermis of the incontinent subject is less exposed to skin maceration, overheating, and sweat. All of this contributes to:
- preventing the risk of redness and skin irritation;
- maintaining healthy skin and skin integrity;
- counteracting excessive overheating of the micro-environment that forms between the body and the diaper, thereby containing skin warming;
- ensuring a greater sensation of freshness.
The Serenity Light Extra diaper is equipped with a skin protection system based on 5 multi-botanical skin-protective elements: aloe vera, chamomile, vitamin E, silk proteins, and olive oil, natural skin-protective substances with recognized soothing and protective properties, present on the inner lining fabric of the diaper.
The system complies with the requirements of Article 14 of Regulation No. 1223/2009, as provided by the CAM.
Additional features for skin well-being: full control of the production process ensures the complete absence of latex, preventing the risk of allergic reactions. No chemical bleaching processes are used. No resins, adhesives, or other chemical agents are present on the absorbent pad. The inner lining non-woven fabric is breathable and hypoallergenic.
The Serenity Light Extra diaper is equipped with a system of superabsorbent polymers with odor control capabilities, which, properly mixed with long-fiber bleached cellulose, is able to drastically reduce the proliferation of bad odors.
The product fully complies with all legislative, regulatory, and technical, community and national provisions governing the products subject to the supply, as well as authorizations for production, import, and marketing, and meets the requirements of the current applicable provisions. The product fully complies with all legislative provisions regarding skin sensitization.
