TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Ultra-absorbent pad:
> absorbent pad: containing high-density cellulose pulp untreated with optical brighteners, with characteristics ensuring fast absorption and retention of liquids away from the skin;
> superabsorbent polymers in sodium polyacrylate: non-toxic and hypoallergenic (antigel type), they are mixed with cellulose pulp, but isolated from direct contact with the skin. They exert their gelling action without compromising the compactness of the absorbent pad;
> the raw materials used - pulp and polymers - are carefully selected to act synergistically, so as to preserve the functionality of the pad which, thanks to the mix of pulp and polymers, quickly captures and retains liquids, while maintaining reduced dimensions and thickness.
Surface covering: soft black non-woven fabric made of hypoallergenic polypropylene fiber, extremely comfortable in use. Treated to maintain prolonged liquid permeability, which is rapidly absorbed by the underlying pad, leaving the surface dry.
Outer covering: breathable non-woven fabric with a liquid barrier function. Thin and resistant, it offers high softness and flexibility.
Longitudinal adhesive: thanks to its large dimensions and special silicone-based adhesive, it guarantees correct and secure positioning with normal underwear. The protective paper tab contains product identification information.
TENA Men Protective Shield Extra Light is specific for drips and minor leaks: thanks to the reduced size of the pad and a thickness of only 3 mm, it guarantees maximum discretion.
Anatomical design: the special shell shape is specifically designed for male anatomy, adapting to the body, protecting comfortably and discreetly. TENA Men Protective Shield follows movements, benefiting comfort, security against leaks, and discretion.
Odour Control System: the special superabsorbent polymers used inhibit bacterial proliferation and thus the formation of unpleasant odors (ammoniacal), ensuring comfort in use.
Adhesives: Hotmelt type, composed of resins (adhesive component) and polymers (cohesive component). Applied hot, without the use of solvents, they do not interact with surrounding materials, thus being non-toxic and inert.
Safety: the entire range of TENA Men incontinence aids is latex-free.
