PARACETAMOLO SELLA 500 mg tablets
Paracetamol

Equivalent medicine

What it is and what it is used for
PARACETAMOLO SELLA contains the active ingredient paracetamol, which works by reducing fever (antipyretic) and relieving pain (analgesic).

PARACETAMOLO SELLA is used in adults, adolescents, and children weighing 21 kg or more (approximately 6 years of age) (see section 3 "How to take Paracetamolo Sella") for:
- the symptomatic treatment of feverish conditions such as influenza, exanthematous diseases (infectious diseases typical of children and adolescents), acute respiratory tract diseases, etc.
- pain of various origin and nature (headache, neuralgia, muscle pain and other moderate painful manifestations).

You should contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days of treatment.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not take PARACETAMOLO SELLA:
- if the person taking the medicine is allergic (hypersensitive) to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking PARACETAMOLO SELLA.

- if you are taking other medicines that alter liver function (see "Other medicines and PARACETAMOLO SELLA");
- if you suffer from blood disorders;

- if you are taking other medicines to treat pain (analgesics) and to lower fever (antipyretics) or to treat inflammation (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) (see "Other medicines and PARACETAMOLO SELLA" section).

Stop treatment and contact your doctor immediately if you experience allergic reactions (see "Possible side effects" section).

Avoid prolonged or frequent use of the medicine without first consulting your doctor and do not simultaneously take other products containing paracetamol, as if paracetamol is taken in high doses, severe adverse reactions may occur.
