Description
Medical device for ophthalmic use based on dry perilla extract in combination with hyaluronic acid.
Sterile, antioxidant, hydrating, and lubricating eye drops.
The dry extract of Perilla frutescens, thanks to the presence of polyphenols, performs an antioxidant action that counteracts redness and irritation caused by oxidative stress due to unfavorable external factors, while hyaluronic acid, a highly biocompatible polymer, stabilizes and replenishes the aqueous layer of the tear film thanks to its lubricating and hydrating action.
The PERFLO DROPS formula is indicated for:
- alleviating and counteracting temporary sensations of eye discomfort such as redness, dryness, foreign body sensation caused by unfavorable atmospheric and environmental conditions (air conditioning, dry climate, heating systems, wind, pollution, dust, smoke, allergens);
- alleviating eye fatigue from visual stress such as long periods of driving or studying, or from prolonged use of electronic devices (TV, smartphones, computers) and/or contact lenses, or from excessive light exposure;
- alleviating occasional dry eye sensation related to ongoing blepharitis, and promoting the removal of any secretions;
- alleviating allergic conjunctivitis and promoting the removal of any secretions. PERFLO DROPS can be administered before application and during contact lens wear to improve application and comfort.

Instructions for use
Instill 2-3 drops per eye, 2-3 times a day or as directed by a doctor.

Components
Dry perilla extract (titrated in polyphenols >2.5%) 0.1%, hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.25%, sodium chloride, dibasic anhydrous sodium phosphate, monobasic monohydrate sodium phosphate, purified water.

Preservative-free.

Warnings
The product is for ophthalmic use only. Once opened, the single-dose vial can be resealed with the appropriate cap, but the contained solution must be used within 12 hours. Do not use the product if the aluminum pouch is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact. Keep out of reach of children. Before opening the vial for drop administration, it is advisable to thoroughly wash your hands. During instillation, do not touch the eye, or other surfaces, with the dispensing end of the vial. Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even a single component of the formulation. If necessary, check with your optician for the compatibility of the eye drops with the contact lenses used. In case of discomfort during use, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Any administration of ophthalmic drugs should be carried out at least 15 minutes after the instillation of eye drops, particularly if they are products containing benzalkonium chloride, or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid the precipitation of hyaluronic acid. The administration of ophthalmic drugs concurrently with eye drops must be carried out under medical supervision, who can evaluate possible interactions. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. Do not discard the container in the environment after use.

Storage
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources, and direct sunlight exposure, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Shelf life after opening: 24 months.
