PIROFER ^FORTE

Food supplement containing Iron, SunActive Fe, microencapsulated iron pyrophosphate in an emulsifying system.
It can be useful for iron supplementation in cases of sideremia and also for long periods, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in women with prolonged and abundant blood loss during the menstrual cycle.
      SunActive Fe
It is an international patent, which has excellent organoleptic properties: it is free from the unpleasant characteristic taste and odor of iron and is highly bioavailable and digestible. With this system, iron is highly absorbable and maintains high serum levels even 8 hours after intake; it shows high levels of “hemoglobin regeneration efficiency” in the presence of anemia. SunActive Fe is highly compliant due to its high gastrointestinal tolerability: it does not cause irritation, feelings of heaviness, and leaves no unpleasant aftertastes because it passes through the gastric environment unharmed and goes into the small intestine, where it is slowly absorbed.
      Vitamin C
It facilitates the absorption of dietary iron, therefore it is useful in the treatment of anemia and contributes to the production of red blood cells.
      Folic Acid
It is necessary for DNA and RNA synthesis and for the production and maintenance of new cells, and is particularly important during periods of rapid growth such as childhood and pregnancy. Indicated in the prevention of some congenital defects; it reduces the risk of neural tube defects and, perhaps, of other congenital malformations.

Ingredients
Microencapsulated iron pyrophosphate (SunActive Fe); vitamin C; folic acid.

Instructions for use
Take 1 tablet daily.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Supplements should not be intended as substitutes for a varied diet.
For pregnant or breastfeeding women and children, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
