SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL
Levothyroxine, escin
What it is and what it is used for
SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL is indicated for the treatment of localised adiposity accompanied by cellulite in adults.
Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 15-20 days.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use SOMATOLINE
- if you are allergic to the active ingredients levothyroxine and escin or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
- If you are intolerant to iodine.
- During pregnancy and breastfeeding (see PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING).
Warnings and precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL.
The use, especially if prolonged, of products for cutaneous use may give rise to sensitisation phenomena and lead to undesirable effects. In this case, you must stop the treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use the product near mucous membranes or on broken skin.
In case of pre-existing thyroid problems, particular caution is recommended when using SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL.
It is advisable to consult your doctor even if the disorders have occurred in the past.
Children and adolescents
Do not use in children and adolescents.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people):
- Skin rash (erythema, itching)
- Hyperthyroidism
- Hypothyroidism
- Graves' disease
