LUMBOSACRAL CORSET
Description
The medical device provides greater stability and limits movement of the lumbar spine. It also provides relief from lower back pain.
Conditions of the lumbar region that may benefit from limited movement, such as:
- muscular low back pain;
- lumbosacral sprain;
- chronic low back pain;
- sciatica.
Rigid support with stays, for concentrating forces on the lumbar region achieved by the V-strap system. Lightweight, breathable fabric for reduced sweating and comfortable wear.
Two removable abdominal stays with an anti-roll system.
Instructions for use
Wear the corset over underwear or a light garment. Orient the apex of the V-cross towards the bottom. Position the corset so that it is centered with respect to the lumbar spine and the lower edge is at the level of the coccyx. Ensure that the product adheres to the lumbar region and, if necessary, shape the stays. Apply symmetrical tension and close the corset with the appropriate hook-and-loop fastener.
Washing
Hand wash in lukewarm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring gently, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
Warnings
Do not use in cases where compression is contraindicated.
Store in a dry environment away from excessive heat and light. Do not prolong the use of the product without medical advice. The product has been designed for use by a single person; do not use it on multiple people. The product must not be used in direct contact with broken skin. Do not use in case of allergies or hypersensitivity to the product components. If problems arise during the use of the product, such as the appearance of pain or obvious local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional. In the event of a serious incident following the use of the product, contact the manufacturer and the competent local healthcare professional.
Gradual discontinuation of the medical device, possibly combined with functional physiotherapy, is recommended.
Patients suffering from pelvic floor weakness should consult their doctor before using the medical device. It is advisable, for the first time, to have the product positioned by a qualified operator and then to perform subsequent positioning independently in the same manner.
