PROTESAN
Description
Two-component self-curing resin, composed of liquid and polymethyl methacrylate powder.
Instructions for use
Repair of damaged dental prosthesis.
- Clean the prosthesis and dry it thoroughly.
- Rub approximately 5 mm of each part adjacent to the lesion with sandpaper until the surface is rough.
- Make sure the two parts fit together perfectly.
- Open jar A containing the pre-dosed powder, add 35-40 drops of the liquid contained in bottle B with the appropriate dropper.
- Mix with the spatula until a homogeneous, sticky consistency is obtained.
- Using the spatula, apply the compound along the entire crack, making sure to obtain a thickness of approximately 2 mm and a width of 5/6 mm, covering the surface previously abraded with sandpaper.
- Moisten the tip of a finger with liquid B and smooth the applied layer.
- Wait 15 minutes to ensure that the compound is perfectly hardened (hardening time depends on ambient temperature).
- The possible presence of a white halo does not alter the repair.
- Remove any residual compound resulting from the repair with sandpaper.
- Rinse the prosthesis.
Detachment of a tooth from the prosthesis.
- Clean both the tooth and the cavity with a cotton ball soaked in liquid B.
- Open jar A containing the pre-dosed powder, add 35-40 drops of the liquid contained in bottle B with the appropriate dropper.
- Mix with the spatula until a homogeneous, sticky consistency is obtained (not particularly thick).
- Introduce a small amount of compound into the cavity and apply the tooth.
- Moisten the tip of a finger with liquid B, then clean up the excess compound around the applied tooth.
- Allow to harden for about 15 minutes and rinse the prosthesis.
Warnings
The components are flammable. Keep away from heat sources and open flames. Avoid contact of the products with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Do not use the product in case of known allergy to the components. Do not put the product in contact with wounds or abrasions.
Never apply the product to the inner part of the dental prosthesis in contact with the gums. The application is the responsibility of the user.
The repair does not eliminate the causes of the breakage, therefore, despite the excellent resistance of the product, it is advisable to consult your dentist. The dental technician can perform the definitive repair if the instructions for use have been followed correctly. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store in a ventilated and cool place (<25 °C) away from heat sources.
