Intended for use with a pen injector for subcutaneous injection of drugs, including insulin and human placental somatotropin.
The NANOPASS 34G 4mm needle for pen injectors, with a stainless steel cannula featuring a double taper (internal and external), makes it the thinnest in the world. It has a patented asymmetrical tip geometry.
The double conical structure significantly reduces resistance to insulin flow, thanks to Hagen-Poiseuille's fluid dynamics principle.
The tip's design and its small size can significantly reduce injection pain.
The back part of the needle that penetrates the drug cartridge features an "anti-coring" design.
