The healing properties of this water have been known for decades and are used in various conditions of the upper and lower respiratory tracts. A strong sulphurous thermal water due to its high hydrogen sulphide content (over 100 mg/litre), a component with beneficial effects on both the mucus of the airways (mucolytic and mucoregulatory effect) and the cells (stimulus for regeneration). These effects, together with the more general vasodilatory and antioxidant effects typical of sulphurous water, lead to an important cytoprotective action and an increase in the mechanical and biological defenses of the respiratory tract.
The other main components of Tabiano water (sulphates, calcium, and magnesium, first and foremost) modulate and sometimes enhance these actions, thus contributing to the curative efficacy in various chronic and recurrent conditions of the upper airways (rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngo-laryngitis, and otitis) and lower airways (catarrhal and obstructive bronchitis, bronchiectasis, etc.).
Its usefulness is also universally recognized in dermatological therapy, as it has a restructuring effect (keratolytic, keratoplastic), sebum-normalizing, and bacteriostatic effect on the superficial layers of the skin; these effects, together with its anti-itching, pro-healing, and soothing action, make Tabiano water effective in various chronic dermatological conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis.

Use with common inhalers and nebulizers for thermal waters.
To best exploit the actions of hydrogen sulphide gas and the precious mineral salts contained in Tabiano water, the entire content of the bottle must be used upon opening.
