Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is a cortisone-free formula that combines rapid itch relief with skin barrier regeneration, helping the skin heal and reducing the urge to scratch. It relieves itching, thus providing at least 7 hours of continuous sleep for children and their families.
Redness, swelling, and itching can be caused by various conditions such as dry skin, atopic dermatitis/eczema, allergic skin reactions, and many other skin irritations.
The intense itching that can occur causes the urge to scratch, but also further damage to the skin.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is used to relieve itching and redness caused by the following skin irritation cases:
- dry skin,
- atopic dermatitis,
- eczema,
- allergic reactions.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream strengthens the skin barrier thanks to its lamellar lipid technology. Through this mechanism, the skin's own lipid layers, which act as a natural protection against irritations, are strengthened, providing relief from itching and redness and supporting skin recovery.
Red, swollen and itchy skin can be caused by dryness, atopic dermatitis/eczema, allergic skin reactions and many other irritations.
In these conditions, the lipids in the superficial stratum corneum (also called the skin barrier) are damaged, which can induce itching.
These lipids, which are mainly ceramides, act as a natural protection against irritations. When this protective barrier is damaged, water escapes from the skin, leading to dryness and itching of the skin. Furthermore, the weakened skin barrier is less effective in protecting against the entry of irritants into the body, which causes even more itching.

The main lipids in these layers are ceramides. Between these layers, natural emollient creams bind water within the skin barrier and ensure it remains properly hydrated.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream contains a special lamellar lipid technology to soothe irritations and rapidly relieve itching.
This technology contains lipids with a lamellar structure, similar to the structure of skin lipids, such as ceramides. The oriented lamellar lipids are able to integrate and bind to the damaged lipid barrier of the stratum corneum and restore it.
A fully intact protective barrier is very important because when it is damaged, it causes itching. Lasting hydration helps the skin recover and thus reduces itching and irritation. Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream also contains physiological humectants such as glycerin, which can bind water to the skin.
This effect is supported by panthenol, which hydrates the skin barrier and thus provides optimal conditions for the skin's natural regeneration process.

Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream should be used as needed. Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is cortisone-free.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
If used during breastfeeding: it is important to remove any cream residues before breastfeeding.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is safe for use on infants and children, while for long-term use or use on large areas, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
