Soothing Paste
Description
Soft cream. A powerful soothing agent, effective in all inflammatory situations, even stubborn ones, a powerful healing agent, a draining decongestant for the lower limbs, reducing swelling, pain, varicose veins, telangiectasias, and providing skin trophism through its action on circulation. It is indicated in all inflammatory situations, in nappy dermatitis, in atopic and stubborn dermatitis, in intertrigo and in the prevention and treatment of bedsores. Very effective in all manifestations of venous insufficiency.
Indications:
- Swollen and heavy legs;
- Varicose veins;
- Haemorrhoids;
- Haematomas;
- Sunburn, burns;
- Redness, irritation;
- Dermatitis, submammary, inguinal dermatitis, nappy dermatitis;
- Itching;
- Skin changes in the elderly and diabetic subjects;
- Skin maceration;
- Skin problems in bedridden patients, decubitus ulcers (prevention and treatment);
- Osteoarthritis;
- Arthritis, periarthritis;
- Sprains and associated oedema.
How to use
Apply the product twice daily, quantitatively and extensively, to the lesions (if skin lesions are present) and perilesional area in a radial direction for at least 10-15 cm, or, in the absence of skin lesions, to the skin surface underlying the lesion in the affected area. Massage gently to promote absorption in the perilesional area. Continue for 15-20 days after resolution in all conditions.
In the treatment of the lower limbs, the product should be applied to the entire leg from the knee to the ankle (stocking application), and not just to the area affected by the disorder, for cycles of at least 20 days several times a year.
To relieve pain and a feeling of heaviness in the lower limbs in chronic venous insufficiency, apply the product like a stocking twice a day for the first 15 days, then once a day daily. The product can also be applied daily as a normal trophic moisturising cream to maintain the lower limbs in optimal circulation, hydration, and trophism.
For haemorrhoids, apply the product twice daily externally and internally with a glove. In the treatment of pre-ulcerative erythema in bedridden patients, apply the product twice daily with a light massage. In the preventive treatment of bedsore formation, apply the product twice daily to the contact area and over the entire nappy area if the bedridden patient is incontinent.
Note: when a sore has already formed, wash with physiological solution, apply directly to the eschar and abundantly and extensively around it, with a light massage. The eschar will be expelled by itself and debridement will not be necessary. If debridement has already been performed, after cleaning with physiological solution, apply the product to the wound bed and abundantly around it. Treatment with V Soothing Paste, if carried out rigorously and consistently, prevents the formation of bedsores.
