BUONA

Buona Spray-sol

Description
Buona Spray-sol is indicated for rhino-sinusal administration of saline solutions and/or solutions containing aerosol drugs for topical treatment of the upper respiratory tract.
Spray-sol is a medical device specifically designed to allow rapid administration of the solution by nebulisation into particles between 10 and 20 microns in size, ideal for treating the upper respiratory tract.
Its specially designed shape and the soft material used for the dispenser make it suitable for a child's nostril, but it can also be used by adults.

How to use
Detach a single-dose vial, warm it between your hands before administering the solution and open it by twisting the cap.
Draw up the solution to be nebulised with the Luer Lock syringe:
- with NEBIAL 3% and ISONEBIAL vials, it is not necessary to use the cannula needle as the opening of the vial fits perfectly with the Luer Lock syringe;
- with other types of vials or containers: attach the cannula needle to the syringe, draw up the solution to be nebulised and then detach the cannula needle from the syringe.
Attach the elephant syringe cover to the Spray-sol nebuliser, making sure the elephant's face is pointing towards the nebuliser, and screw the syringe filled with the solution onto the appropriate inlet nozzle of the Spray-sol nebuliser.
For infants and young children (under 3 years old and in any case depending on their level of cooperation), it is necessary to perform the wash in a lying position on their side, keeping the head tilted to one side and gently inserting the Spray-sol nebuliser into the upper nostril. Push the syringe plunger to nebulise the solution. For older children and adults, lean the torso forward with the head slightly tilted to one side and insert the Spray-sol nebuliser into the upper nostril. Push the syringe plunger to nebulise the solution, making sure that the purple cap of the nebuliser does not detach from the transparent body.
Repeat the steps in point 4 for the other nostril, trying to evenly divide the solution contained in the syringe between the two nostrils. During treatment, the nebulised solution may drip from the nose.
At the end of each use, before storing the components in the appropriate case, wash them as follows:
- wash the Spray-sol nebuliser under running, non-hot water, with the optional addition of a drop of neutral (non-abrasive) soap. Before storing it, dry the Spray-sol nebuliser with a soft cloth;
- rinse the syringe body and plunger under running water and dry them thoroughly before reassembling the syringe;
- rinse the cannula needle both internally and externally with running water and let it air dry;
- wash the elephant syringe cover and the customisable container with running water and dry them with a soft cloth. Make sure all components are completely dry before storing them inside the customisable container.
Buona Spray-Sol is indicated for use by a single patient, but can be used multiple times. Therefore, thorough cleaning after each use is very important to ensure optimal functioning and durability.

Warnings
Use the product exclusively for its intended purpose.
The use of the Spray-sol nebuliser and cannula needle by children or non-self-sufficient persons must take place under the supervision of an adult who has read these instructions for use.
Do not use Buona Spray-sol under 3 months of age.
Store the product away from humidity, light and heat sources.
Before each use, check that the Spray-sol devices, syringe and cannula needle are not damaged; if they are damaged, do not use them.
For frequency of use, follow the instructions on the label of the solution to be nebulised or the doctor's instructions.
For hygienic reasons, the Spray-sol nebuliser is intended for a single patient, but can be reused for multiple nebulisations. For reuse, clean it by following the instructions described above.
The supplied syringe and cannula needle can be reused multiple times as they are intended for nasal use.
Use the Spray-sol nebuliser as long as its mechanical integrity and ability to nebulise the solution are maintained.
It is recommended not to use the Spray-sol nebuliser, syringe and cannula needle for more than 6 months after first use.
After each use, store the Spray-sol nebuliser, syringe, cannula needle and elephant syringe cover in the appropriate container, after having washed and dried them properly.
Keep the Buona Spray-Sol package where the batch number is indicated.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
