Food supplement with sweeteners based on potassium citrate.
Particularly helpful for individuals undergoing intense fluid loss, such as heavy sweating, diuresis, or diarrhea, or in patients treated with drugs such as diuretics, laxatives, or corticosteroids.
It is also particularly useful for those who engage in intense sports activities, as it not only provides an adequate amount of readily absorbable potassium but also in an alkaline form, through citrate.
This alkalizing action helps neutralize lactic acid in the muscles and allows for easier drainage through the bloodstream.
This reduces the risk of cramps and muscle soreness.

Directions for use
A sachet of BIOKCIT dissolved in half a glass of water makes a pleasant citrus-flavored drink.
It is recommended to take one sachet of BIOKCIT per day for adequate mineral integration.
For different indications (prevention of kidney stones), follow medical prescription.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
BIOKCIT is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
Concomitant administration of BIOKCIT and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could lead to hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor blood potassium levels.
No interactions with other drugs are known.
Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea may develop. The tablet formulation may be particularly indicated in these subjects.
