CLIN 4000

Class IIa medical device. Powdered laxative for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated for chronic constipation; it is equally indicated in cases of occasional irregular bowel movements. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens stools, facilitating evacuation. This promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or urgency. Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
Does not contain excipients or flavourings.
Sugar-free.

Instructions for use
Dissolve the powder by mixing it in any drink. The content of one sachet (10 g) should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml for pediatric use) of any drink, including hot ones, such as tea, herbal tea, milk, broth or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the drink. Drink the reconstituted solution. It is recommended to take it away from meals.
Due to its safety characteristics, it allows for wide dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing over 20 kg: 10 g (1 sachet), 1-3 times a day, according to individual response. For a faster effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (1 sachet) 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be commensurate with body weight. Therefore, the use of the 200 g bottle of powder with a measuring spoon is recommended, which allows the dose to be customized according to the child's actual needs until soft stools are obtained. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings
Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should be used under medical prescription.
No interactions with drugs are known, but it is advisable to take the product at least 2 hours apart from oral medications.
Occasionally, abdominal distension and/or nausea may be noted, which resolve with continued use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, stop using the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose, diarrhea may occur, which resolves spontaneously with discontinuation of the product.

Storage
Store in the original packaging in a cool and dry place.

Format
The package contains 30 single-dose sachets. Each sachet contains 10 g of Macrogol 4000. Clin 4000 is also available in a 200 g bottle with a measuring spoon.
