CLIN 4000

Class IIa medical device. Powder laxative for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated for chronic constipation; it is equally indicated in cases of occasionally irregular bowels. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens stools, facilitating evacuation. In this way, it promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or urgency. Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
It contains no excipients or flavourings.
Sugar-free.

Instructions for use
Dissolve the powder by mixing it into any beverage. 10 g of powder should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml for pediatric use) of any beverage, even hot, such as tea, herbal tea, milk, broth or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the beverage. Drink the solution thus reconstituted. It is recommended to take it between meals.
Due to its safety characteristics, it allows for wide dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing more than 20 kg: 10 g, 1-3 times a day, according to individual response. To achieve a faster effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be commensurate with body weight. Therefore, the use of the 200 g powder bottle with a measuring spoon is recommended, which allows for customizing the dose according to the child's actual needs until soft stools are obtained. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings
Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should be used under medical prescription.
No drug interactions are known, but it is advisable that the product be taken at least 2 hours apart from oral medications.
Abdominal distension and/or nausea may occasionally be noted, which resolve with continued use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, hives): in this case, discontinue use of the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose, diarrhea may occur, which resolves spontaneously with discontinuation of the product.

Storage
Store in the original packaging in a cool and dry place.
