Test strips
Description
Test strips for measuring blood glucose.
Provide accurate results in 5 seconds.
Small blood samples (1mc) are required.
They are sensitive to natural red blood cell variations.
Directions for use
òInsert the test strips into the test strip port with the contact bars facing the blood glucose meter.
òKeeping your finger extended and steady, move the instrument and the test strip towards the blood drop.
ò Gently touch the test strip channel to the edge of the blood drop.
ò Wait for the absorption channel to fill completely. The blood drop will be drawn into the capillary channel and should fill it completely.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 5 °C and 30 °C
Warnings
- If there is condensation (water vapor deposit) on the blood glucose meter, do not perform the test. Before performing the test, move the blood glucose meter and test strips to a cooler and drier place and wait for the instrument's surface to dry. - Do not open the test strip vial until you are ready to remove a strip and perform a test. Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the vial, especially in environments with high humidity.
- Close the vial tightly immediately after use, to avoid contamination or damage. Store unused test strips only in their original vial. - Do not put a used test strip back into the vial after performing a test.
- Do not reuse a test strip to which blood or control solution has been applied. Test strips are for single use only.
- Do not test with a bent or damaged test strip.
- You can touch the test strip anywhere with clean, dry hands. Do not bend, cut, or modify the test strips in any way.
- When opening a new vial of test strips, check the expiration date.
