VISUSTRIN
Description
Medical device for ophthalmic use consisting of an isotonic, low-viscosity, sterile solution with physiological pH, preservative-free, based on dry extract of Perilla frutescens in combination with hyaluronic acid.
The dry extract of Perilla frutescens, thanks to the presence of polyphenols, performs an antioxidant action that counteracts redness and irritation caused by oxidative stress, while hyaluronic acid, a highly biocompatible polymer, replenishes the aqueous layer of the tear film thanks to its moisturizing action.
Indicated to reduce eye redness and irritation caused by atmospheric agents (dry climate, wind) and environmental factors (dust, allergens, pollution, smoke) and due to visual stress caused by:
- prolonged use of electronic devices (TV, smartphones, computers);
- contact lenses;
- excessive light exposure;
- long periods of driving and/or studying.
It can be administered before application and during contact lens use to improve application and comfort.
