AFOMILL RELIEF
EYE DROPS
Description
Sterile ophthalmic solution, with physiological pH. The main action of the device is to lubricate and hydrate the ocular surface, thanks to sodium hyaluronate and hypromellose. Afomill Relief is indicated for the relief of redness, fatigue, discomfort, and dry eyes.
Sodium hyaluronate is used for its moisturizing and lubricating action, which counteracts dry eyes and creates a film that protects the corneal epithelium from environmental agents. Hypromellose is a polymer with muco-mimetic properties capable of stabilizing the tear film on the surface of the cornea, creating a protective, transparent, and viscoelastic shield. Sodium hyaluronate is a molecule naturally present in the human body where constant lubrication is necessary (such as cartilage, skin, tear film) and is therefore biocompatible.
This lubricant, together with hypromellose, offers intense and long-lasting hydration to the ocular surface. The lubricants attract and retain water from the environment and form a lubricating shield on the eye's surface. As this viscous shield gradually releases water, Afomill Relief provides prolonged hydration to the eyes. In addition, Afomill Relief contains sodium chloride and borate buffer to ensure a physiological solution, and distilled waters of rosehip, aloe, chamomile, and blueberry to ensure a moisturizing action. Afomill Relief does not contain preservatives or phosphate buffers. Afomill Relief is compatible with contact lenses.
Instructions for use
- Wash and dry hands thoroughly before use.
- Break the tamper-evident seal before the first administration.
- Remove the protective cap.
- Squeeze the container and instill 2 or 3 drops of Afomill Relief into the eye; do not apply more than 10 doses (2-3 drops per eye) per day.
- After dispensing the first drop, wait a few seconds before squeezing the bottle again. This will allow air to return to the system, facilitating the dispensing of the next drop.
- Due to the intrinsic characteristics of the bottle with a dispenser for preservative-free solutions, as the bottle gradually empties, greater pressure may be needed to allow the product to exit. A small amount of solution always remains inside the bottle.
- If you think you missed the eye, administer another drop.
- Repeat the procedure for the other eye, if necessary.
- After use, shake the bottle to remove any excess product before replacing the cap on the container.
- After use, immediately close the bottle with the cap.
- If, after use, the bottle is squashed, wait for it to return to its original shape before closing it with the appropriate cap.
- Do not touch the tip of the applicator, even with your eyes or fingers.
- The product can be reused within 3 months of first opening.
- Afomill Relief can be used with contact lenses.
