CLARASTILL
Sterile carboxymethylcellulose solution
Description
Medical device.
0.3% sterile aqueous solution of carboxymethylcellulose for use on ocular tissues due to its protective, eutrophic, hydrating, and lubricating action.
Thanks to the anti-oxidant and free radical scavenging properties of its components, the device protects ocular tissues (lens, cornea, conjunctiva) from the consequences of oxidative stress due to unfavorable environmental factors (mechanical stress from contact lenses, solar radiation, smoke, dust, air conditioning, computer radiation) and facilitates the restoration of their natural epithelial trophism.
Perfectly transparent, miscible with water (and lacrimal fluid) in all proportions, it does not form insoluble precipitates with metal salts or with organic residues possibly present in the lacrimal fluid; it has a pH and osmolarity value perfectly compatible with ocular tissue and lacrimal fluid and therefore has a high degree of tolerability.
Instructions for use
Instill 1-2 drops of CLARASTILL solution into the lower conjunctival fornix of the eye, applying light pressure on the body of the bottle.
The operation can be repeated multiple times a day, when necessary.
Components
Carboxymethylcellulose 0.3%, methyl hydroxybenzoate 0.030%, propyl hydroxybenzoate 0.012%, glycerin, disodium edetate, N-acetylcarnosine, sodium chloride, sodium tetraborate, potassium bicarbonate, purified water.
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children.
Given the absence of quaternary ammonium salts (benzalkonium, cetrimide), the device can also be used by wearers of soft and rigid contact lenses.
Do not touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
Do not use in case of eye infection.
Do not use with external ophthalmic medications.
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation.
Storage
Store the bottle below 25 °C. After first opening, store the bottle in the refrigerator at 2-8 °C.
The indicated expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, stored correctly.
