Xiloial FORTE

CE medical device. Ophthalmic solution with Ts-Polysaccharide containing high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid, obtained by biotechnological synthesis. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that gives rise to mucomimetic solutions with high lubricating properties; the viscosity of these solutions is such as to allow a high moisturizing effect and stabilization of the tear film. Ts-Polysaccharide is a plant substance, extracted from the seeds of the tamarind plant (Tamarindus Indica), useful for protecting the corneal-conjunctival surface. Ts-Polysaccharide forms a protective film on the ocular surface, which helps restore the normal physiological balance of the tear film and ocular surface. The combination of the two substances therefore allows a synergistic activity of protection of the corneal/conjunctival surface from irritations due to environmental physical causes (wind, prolonged exposure to sunlight, cigarette smoke, dry air), visual stress (intense visual effort, VDTs) or mechanical factors (contact lenses, eye surgery). The concentration of the mixture is calibrated in such a way as to allow lubrication even in cases of more intense discomfort.

Instructions for use
After opening the protective pouch, separate one vial from the others. Open the vial by twisting and pulling the cap. Administer one drop of Xiloial mono into the eye, applying slight pressure on the body of the vial. This can be repeated several times a day, as needed.

Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only. After administration, temporary blurred vision may occur, which in any case disappears within a few minutes: it is advisable to wait for the blurring to disappear before undertaking any activity that requires clear vision (driving cars, operating machinery, etc.). Do not use Xiloial Forte if the vial is damaged. Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the vial. Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Allow 10-15 minutes to elapse between the instillation of Xiloial Forte and any instillation of external ophthalmic medications. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. The formulation does not contain preservatives. Xiloial Forte is packaged in convenient reclosable vials that allow repeated use during the day. Keep the preparation out of the reach of children. Do not swallow.

Storage
Store below 25°C. Use each vial within 12 hours of opening. Do not discard the vial in the environment after use.
