Enterosgel is an inert silicon hydrogel, a porous globular structure (similar to a sponge) that selectively adsorbs and eliminates only toxic molecules (both endogenous and exogenous) of medium size and pathogenic microorganisms.
Indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea and chronic diarrhea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
Enterosgel is not absorbed and does not adsorb essential nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins, mineral salts, and protein molecules, including immunoglobulins. It is an oral intestinal adsorbent (enterosorbent) composed of an organic mineral capable of adsorbing certain toxic and harmful substances (e.g., endotoxins and enterotoxins) in the intestine, binding them physically to its surface, thereby reducing the frequency of bowel movements and the duration of diarrhea. Enterosgel is expelled from the body with feces, thus removing adsorbed toxins and harmful substances, which can have a beneficial effect in the treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea states from IBS.
It contains no preservatives, colorants, gluten, fats, sugars, lactose, flavorings, or ingredients of plant or animal origin.

Instructions for use
- Adults and children over 15 years: 15-22.5 g 3 times a day (15 g = 1 tablespoon) diluted in 200 ml of water 3 times a day.
- Children aged 7 to 14 years: 10 g 3 times a day (10 g = 2 teaspoons) diluted in 50-100 ml of water.
- Children aged 1 to 6 years: 5 g 3 times a day (5 g = 1 teaspoon) diluted in 50-100 ml of water (1-3 years: it is advisable to consult a doctor before using Enterosgel).
Sufficient fluid intake is in any case necessary as part of diarrhea treatment.
Take Enterosgel 2 hours before or after meals or before or after taking oral medications.
Enterosgel should be administered for 3-5 days in case of acute diarrhea and up to 21 days in case of chronic diarrhea. Before administration, dilute the dose in water at room temperature. It is recommended to drink a sufficient amount of fluids during treatment. At the beginning of acute diarrhea treatment (day 1), the first dose may be doubled, and then continue with a single dose after each bowel movement, 3 to 6 times a day. A maximum of 8 doses on the first day.
During chronic diarrhea treatment, the dosage can be adjusted to suit stool consistency and frequency of bowel movements. Up to double the dose can be taken 3 times a day if stools are liquid, or reduced to one dose once a day if stools are normal. A maximum of 6 doses per day can be taken.
Stop treatment if there are no bowel movements for 1-2 days, increase water intake, and continue treatment after a bowel movement has occurred.

Components
Polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate (PMSPI) 70%, purified water 30%.

Gluten-free.
Lactose-free.

Warnings
Enterosgel, if administered in combination with medication(s), should be taken at least 2 hours before or at least 2 hours after taking the oral medication(s).
Within 12 hours, Enterosgel, which does not enter the metabolic circulation, is completely eliminated with feces along with the adsorbed substances.
Possible side effects: nausea and constipation.
Enterosgel can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If feeling unwell during pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult a doctor. There are no clinical data for the use of Enterosgel in the first trimester of pregnancy. It is advisable to consult a doctor before taking the product.
Contraindicated in cases of: intestinal atony, intestinal obstruction, product intolerance confirmed by previous use, oral intake of modified-release (controlled) medications.
It is advisable to take Enterosgel orally between meals.
In case of prolonged diarrhea, it is necessary to consult a doctor before using Enterosgel to establish a diagnosis.
In children, diarrhea treatment should be supplemented with the timely administration of a sufficient amount of fluids to prevent dehydration.
For adults, it is recommended to drink a sufficient amount of fluids during treatment to ensure proper rehydration.
If diarrhea symptoms persist for more than 2 days, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
In the presence of fever, blood in the stool, diarrhea and vomiting, symptoms of dehydration, six or more bowel movements in the last 24 hours, or severe and persistent abdominal pain, consult a doctor immediately, especially if it concerns children.
Do not use if the package is damaged.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not exceed the recommended treatment period and do not take with food to avoid interactions with vitamins or nutrients.
Consult a doctor if you are taking other intestinal adsorbents, for example preparations containing activated charcoal, clay, or kaolin.
Enterosgel is not indicated in cases of acute chemical poisoning or drug poisoning or drug overdose.
Shake the tube thoroughly before opening and each use.
The expiry date on the package refers to the intact product, stored correctly.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Keep out of reach of children.
Close the cap after use to prevent drying.

Storage
Store at a temperature not lower than 4 °C. Do not freeze, do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 1 month.
