VENOPLANT
Cream Gel
Description
A formulation containing active ingredients with recognized vasoprotective action, effective in promoting a physiological improvement of microcirculation trophism and capillary tone in cases of swelling, heaviness, nocturnal restlessness of the lower limbs, and edema of traumatic and orthopedic origin. Venoplant Cream Gel contains a patented vegetable lipoprotein compound as an emulsifier: Olivoil Glutinate. This substance, derived from olive oil and wheat proteins, provides the Cream Gel with excellent skin tolerability and effective absorption of the functional ingredients.
Properties
-Escin: is the main active component of horse chestnut seed which has been shown, in many experimental models, to possess anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative activity and the ability to reduce capillary permeability. The decrease in vascular permeability prevents the leakage of protein molecules, electrolytes, and therefore water into the surrounding tissues, thus reducing the symptoms of venous disorders such as swollen legs, feeling of heaviness, pain, and itching.
-Triterpenic fraction of centella extract: Centella asiatica is a medicinal plant that has been known and used for therapeutic purposes for a long time. It is rich in triterpenic substances that have therapeutic characteristics on the skin tissue and on the venous circulation. The triterpenic fraction consists of: asiatic acid (30%), madecassic acid (30%) and asiaticoside (40%). These substances stimulate the trophism of connective tissue and intervene in the control of microcirculation permeability. Therefore, they possess properties that stimulate the integrity of connective tissue, improving the elasticity of the subcutaneous tissue and venous vessels, and the ability to help the physiological drainage function of tissue fluids whose stagnation causes cellulite, swelling and a feeling of heaviness in the lower limbs.
-Melilot: the leaves of this plant are used. They contain the active ingredient used in medicine: coumarin, which, thanks to its very high lipophilicity, is completely absorbed by the skin. Coumarin stimulates the proteolytic action of the enzymes contained in macrophages, eliminating the main cause of edema from venous insufficiency. The anti-edematous action carried out by the substance reduces the formation of edema from venous and lymphatic stasis of any origin, even in the traumatological and orthopedic fields.
-Heparin: is a mucopolysaccharide capable of intervening in the hemocoagulation cascade and is used for its anticoagulant action. Therefore, topical use can reduce the formation of hematomas and exudates due to trauma, contusions or venous circulatory disorders.

Escin, centella asiatica extract, melilot, heparin.
