What it is and what it is used for
ALLERGAN is an antipruritic, meaning it relieves itching and discomfort caused by irritations, insect bites, and skin redness due to excessive sun exposure.

ALLERGAN is used for the local symptomatic treatment of itchy dermatitis, sunburn, insect bites (i.e., to relieve itching and discomfort caused by irritations, insect bites, and skin redness due to excessive sun exposure).

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Children under 2 years of age.
Known hypersensitivity to the components and to other antihistamines of similar chemical structure (dimenhydrinate, carbinoxamine maleate).
It is advisable to consult a doctor if these symptoms have already occurred.

Warnings and precautions
Do not use with occlusive dressing. The use of the product, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitization phenomena (allergic reaction); if this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.

Burning, skin rashes, photosensitivity reactions (appearance of spots on the skin after sun exposure) have been reported.
