Aluneb MAD Nasal is a medical device, without a needle, for the nebulization of topical solutions via the nasal route.
It allows for topical treatments of the nasal and sinus cavities, and enables rapid administration of the Aluneb solution through nebulization into particles 30-100 microns in diameter, ideal for therapy of the upper respiratory tract.
MAD Nasal is a device used in pre-hospital and emergency settings for the administration of anesthetics, anticonvulsants, and pain relievers via the intranasal route.
Thanks to its soft conical adapter, it ensures a seal on the nostril and ergonomically adapts to the nostrils of adults and and children.
The malleable tube allows for 180° positioning of the conical adapter.

How to use
Disconnect the MAD Nasal device by unscrewing it from the supplied syringe.
Open the single-dose Aluneb vial by twisting the tabs.
Connect the vial to the syringe and draw half of the solution contained in the vial.
Attach the MAD Nasal by screwing it onto the syringe.
Insert the tip of the MAD Nasal into one nostril. Keep your torso upright. Vigorously push the syringe plunger to nebulize the solution.
Repeat the operations, from point 3 to point 5, for the other nostril as well.

Cleaning
It is intended for use by a single patient, but can be used multiple times.
For this reason, careful cleaning of the device after each use is very important to ensure its durability and proper functioning.
Wash MAD Nasal under warm running water.
Before storing MAD Nasal, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth or a blast of warm air.
