Description
Oral rehydration solution (ORS) with reduced osmolarity, indicated for correcting mild to moderate dehydration thanks to its balanced sodium and glucose content. Dietary management of mild to moderate dehydration is based on correcting and maintaining the correct hydro-saline status, through the administration of an oral rehydration solution.

Ingredients
Water, glucose; acidifier: citric acid; sodium citrate, sodium chloride, natural orange flavor, passion fruit flavor, potassium chloride, potassium citrate; preservative: potassium sorbate; fructooligosaccharides (FOS), galactooligosaccharides (GOS), zinc gluconate; sweetener: sucralose.

Gluten and lactose free.

Directions for use
Unless otherwise instructed by your doctor, administer 50-100 ml/kg every 4-6 hours. It is advisable to start with small doses (approximately 5 ml, using a teaspoon or a dosing syringe) every 2-3 minutes; if intake is well tolerated and does not induce vomiting, gradually increase the amount taken and reduce the time intervals. In case of ongoing losses, the recommended quantity must be further supplemented by adding:
- 2-5 ml/kg for each episode of vomiting
- 10 ml/kg for each episode of diarrhea
- 1-5 ml/kg/day for each degree of temperature above 38°C
If vomiting occurs, administration can be suspended for 10 minutes and then resumed more slowly. If refrigerated, the ORS is more pleasant to take. Shake before administration.

Warnings
It must be used exclusively under medical supervision; it is not suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition; it must not be administered parenterally.

Storage
Unopened packaging can be stored at room temperature until the minimum shelf life indicated, in a dry place away from heat sources (max 25°C). Do not freeze. The product can be refrigerated (max +6°C) before administration. After opening, store in the refrigerator (max +6°C) and use within 24 hours. Close after use.
Shelf life of unopened packaging: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 24 hours.
