The two-layer fast/retard technology allows for gradual absorption of the plant active ingredients and better utilization by the body. Lavender, Valerian, California Poppy, and Melatonin, contained in the first rapid-release layer, promote falling asleep. Passionflower, contained in the second layer with release within 4 hours, promotes relaxation and continuous, restful sleep.
